The boss
Our CEO (Chief Eating Officer)
Our current CEO is Eevee, a small terrier who is half Staffordshire Bull Terrier and half American Hairless Terrier. She is an extremely sweet, bright, and energetic dog who gets on with all other dogs. She is incredibly fit and joins me on runs up to 17km, and has completed several Munros, including a round of seven over two days

About Us
Here at barklife your dog is our number one priority. I am a full-time dog boarder and sitter who can also provide day care, drop ins and walks. I aim to care for your dog exactly how it would be cared for in your home.
I have been around dogs from the day I was born. I love looking after them and welcome the opportunity to meet more.
Your dog will be looked after to your exact specifications, and at the least walked for an hour once a day. If they are used to more that will be accommodated.
I also like taking my own dog to dog parks to train and run around free from worry that they could disappear.
If your dog does CaniCross or likes running up hills, this is something I can provide as well. My own dog Eevee can run up to 17km+ and has done ten Munros, in all weather conditions.
Learn More
I have been inspected and licenced by Perth & Kinross Council and have specialised insurance which covers all the dog care services I provide.
I am also qualified in dog first aid and am training in dog behaviour.
My car has been kitted out specifically to transport dogs with a boot liner, comfortable beds, and clips to ensure they cannot jump out to early.
I have lived in Perthshire most of my life and enjoy taking my dog out for different walks. We might go to the North Inch for her to chase balls, the Hermitage for a Forrest Walk, or around Kinnoull Hill or Moncrieffe Hill. We will also occasionally head down to St. Andrews Beach for a run about. I like to make sure that the dogs get to have different experiences, so they enjoy their time with us.
I encourage you to give me as detailed as routine for your dog if you want to and I will accommodate it as best I can. You can look forward to getting text and pictures updates throughout their stay.
I always encourage a meet and great before taking a booking so that you can ask any questions you need to, I can get to know you and your dog a bit, and so your dog can meet Eevee. If your dog is not usually allowed off a lead, then I will book a dog park for the dogs to meet at no cost to you.
My dog is allowed on the furniture and sleeps on the bed, so if this is something you allow your dog to do then they can feel right at home here. However, if they usually sleep in a specific room in a bed or crate then that is what we will provide. I have a XL crate here so you will not need to bring, this is also fully cleaned and disinfected after every stay.
Between dogs everywhere is cleaned and disinfected to a very high standard. The sofa has removable throws which are cleaned after every stay and our floor is vinyl which is steam cleaned and disinfected. We have thorough procedures in place so in the unlikely event of an ill dog there is little chance it could be passed on.
